Great shots!

Telephoto lens?
Yes, 400mm prime. Prime meaning fixed, and not a zoom. I was set up at the closest range the lens would focus. It was OK for the smaller birds, but when the larger Camp Robbers showed up I needed to back up to get the whole birds body in viewfinder, but didn't.

Nice shots, we had the 'camp robbers' around us in Wy years ago, very bold birds.

Cool ones! Sounds safer than my plan to strap a live trout to my head and sit quietly by the river in order to get a decent eagle pic, too.
