I thought the team from Catalonia should have placed somewhere, but didn't. Team Mexico, who usually place, succeeded in confusing us all this year. As usual, our local Breckenridge team probably excelled in out-drinking all other teams. (Alcohol at 10,000 feet can be pretty tricky) Great job by all teams.

Do they ever carve wood or other material? Shame to see that amazing work melt.

Well Ron, for this one it's just snow. They last a long time, until the town plows them up and clears the lot back off here in a week or so. Lots of artists up here, and you see a lot of permanent bronzes and wood carvings scattered about the towns up here in Summit County, more so than, say, Gotebo, Oklahoma. Which did at one time have a bronze gorilla in front of a bank on the SW corner of SH9 & SH54. Never did figure out what that meant.
This world is not my home.

I guess a Bronze gorilla could survive in Oklahoma. I know the Brass Monkies are extinct where I live. ( Sorry couldn't help myself. )
