He was really putting on a show...I guess tossing him some bread did it.

He might of just fancied you  This reminds me of a job I was doing last week at a farm, I was in the back of my service van and stepped out, and almost stood on one of these birds :laughing7:..nice picture.

Good pics. They're pretty to look at, but I wouldn't have one around, cause my god they will make a lot of racket!

I would like to have some of those things(even with all the racket they make :-)
I'm afraid with all the coyotes we have though, they wouldn't last long around here! Do you put them up at night?
Beautiful pictures!!

He came here 2 yrs ago next month. I keep feed out for my fowl and he hangs out with them. I got him eating bread from my hand now, but he's cautious and hangs back some. He sleeps in the tallest pines around the house. He goes in the coop but he runs out, so no way I would shut him up. Noise? well, I use to him & the guineas...music to my ears. But, when they're alarmed, then I'm alarmed.

Wow River that is one fancy Chicken HawK. LOL. Had a Peacock on my sun room roof last year. They are beautiful birds and are very vocal. Nice pics. Thanks much..

Great picss RR ! I am moveing you in to the Fossis and Hammered " Hall Of Fame " ! Mr M reminds me of something that happened about 5 years ago . There are some folks about 2 miles North of me that have some exiotc pets . Well one day they got loose and it was not a big deal . They have 2 Lamas and the school kids were petting them , the police were just waiting for the owners to come home and everything seemed to be fine . Then the local TV news showed up and began to rant on about how unsafe it was for " wild anmials " to be roaming about . And if as on cue this large male Peacock started chaseing her and trying to bite her butt . She is running as fast as she can in heels shouting " Cut ! Cut ! ' . And of course the camera man did not ! The funiest dang thing I ever saw ! Hoss
