It is dark when I approach Beatty . So it is an " anywhere " I can find to camp for the night . I take a dirt track leading off in to hills . I am hungry and tired and there is a ' Washoe Zepher " blowing to make matters worse . I get my tent set up in about 30 min's but the wind is blowing so bad I can not get a fire going , so it will be a cold camp night . I back " Bessie " as close as I can next to the tent to act as a wind break . Then it is cold Spam and beans for supper , but I am greatfull just to eat and get some shut-eye . The wind stops about 4:AM and the dawn brings a beatiful sunrise . This is mining country , if you look behind the tent you will see " diggin's " everywhere . Thank you for comeing along ! Hope you had a good time . I am going fishin , so I will see you next week ! Hoss
