Bullet Mold

I found this old bullet mold at a farm about 10 years ago. I didn't find the spoon that is used to pour the lead into the mold though. Note: The silvery stuff inside, is silver crayon that my son thought he could make a bullet with. Funny thing is, is that it actually worked pretty good. . . lol

Can anyone help indentify the era in which it came from? I do know a little about these molds. But, any help would be appreciated.

Googled "colt bullet mold" and presto, there they were. I think I had seen this at a gun show(we get 1 a month), but am getting old and couldn't remember.

Yeah, I have the same opinion as well. I looked at it closely and don't see a makers' mark anywhere. Its probably because of the patina or condition of it. No markings anywhere to recognise.

Eureka!!

Looks good to me. Too bad it doesn't have a makers' mark to confirm.
