Just a few mundane shots around my camp this week over at Halfmoon Gulch, nothin outstanding. Snow showers in the a.m., but a nice afternoon. Up in the 50's, down to 25 at night. I'm not camped along the creek, as it's just a superstition of mine not to camp within 100 yards of running water if possible.

Hahaha! Thanks mamabear. I never take it for granted. I grew up on the southern plains and came to Colorado intending to stay 6 months and get the hell out. That was 8 years ago. To me there is a sorta sublime beauty to the plains that most people don't get and I get homesick for them sometimes, but anymore I don't come down out of the mountains more than once or twice a year these days.
