Pass by here fairly regular, but after the recent heavy rain, the air was very clear. I had to stop and take a picture.

Nice pic Ron. I can see Shasta from my backyard. She is North of me and I can see Mt Lassen to the East. The Yolla Bollys are to my West. South of me is nothing but Southerners. :)

A very nice picture. Spent many a year looking at Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen from our home in Enterprise, and from My folk's home in Shinglestown.

Excellent pic. The sky was crap all summer long here due to smoke from wildfires, but it's startin to clear up some.

Just one heck of a great photo of a great mountain. Never seen Shasta or any mountain peak south of Mt Hood, but for two years was treated to seeing Mt Rainier while stationed at McChord AFB, Wa.

Many Thanks to ALL for your input!

Like I said, I pass by here all the time, and just happened to have decent conditions for a picture. Most of the summer the air has been filled with haze due to forest fires, and sky has been sort of a milky white.
