A friend of mine found this several years back, I tried to buy it from him for many years, but he never budged until this past Dec. He was dying of cancer, I went over to see him, I asked him about the badge and he said that he was leaving it to me. I feel really honored to own this peace. I have several 63rd buttons to make a nice display. Thanks to my friend Steve, he had a couple stories in the western eastern over the years, he was a true relic hunter, I think it might be from the middle to the late 19th century.
