Jeff thanks for reminding me why we moved from NH to Tennessee. We get snow but it's usually gone by noon the next day.. Our friend who moved here from CT about 5 years ago is a retired weather man. He researched weather patterns for most of the country and found that we're in a bit of a sweet spot here in the North East corner. Being close to the mountains the nasty stuff that comes up the coast misses us and the nasty stuff coming from the West usually turns North before getting here. This will be our 3rd Winter here and so far he's been right.
Wet and messy here in Tennessee. Was going to deer hunt this morning on the Mountain near my house and ice warnings changed my mind. Windy as the dickens as well. Now the big decision for the rest of the day is whether to break out the Teknetics T2 or the Tikka T3. Looks like the metal detecting is out for you today Jeff. Stay warm my friend.
Ha! There and not here makes it a good pic. Highs in the 30's and lows in the teens here the next few days. Camping weather is back! Snow back next weekend though.

they are saying one 1" storm in the Morning & 1 2" storm in the evening.
up here will probably translate to 5 inches more on top of what it is too cold to shovel now
Heres what you do Jeff.Get a bunch of interesting book and or movies,A bunch of cases of your favorite booze(specifically hard stuff).Just stay anesthetized and before you know it,its spring.
I dealt with about 8 inches on Saturday/Sunday and looking at another 4-6 tomorrow. I feel your pain Jeff. I think my back does as well. Boy I love to shovel... Ha! It was fun as a kid when school was cancelled and I got to go out and play in the stuff. Now all I get to do is shovel, scrape and then drive through it to work.
