Nice up here in the high country too. We won't hit the 60's, but at least up to 40 and only in the 20's at night. More snow on the way this weekend. I think January and February in the mountains is maybe goin to be 'epic' as the snowboarders say. I would say it's goin to be a b*tch. Hopefully I'm wrong.

what kind of trees are in that sunrise pic? Palm??
Those are wild sunflowers, the pedals are now gone. I let them grow wild in the back yard. They come up year after year. I like to watch the Gold Finch's and small birds eat the seeds in the late summer. I get high on that!

I couldn't tell that they were smaller plants from the pic and I was amazed palms would grow where you are.
I thought the same after I took the picture. Wow looks like a sunrise on a beach in Key West Florida. There is a restaurant I've seen in the Denver area that has large fake Palm Trees out on their patio. That's about the best we could do I guess in getting a Palm Tree to grow around here.
