I'm going detecting tomorrow. It's 19 outside right now. I' m driving south a couple hundred miles to do it however.

Yes We haven't had high temps this low since the mid 90's
(at least not at this time according to TV)
& although that report don't go as far,
there is a possibility of more snow next Thursday.
I hope just flurries at most.

Yes we are over due unfortunately,
So I wouldn't be surprised.

Last few years I didn't shovel snow at all.

Yes we got it, but it was so insignificant, I left it to melt.

This year I find myself Shoveling again.
but due to Health concerns I do it in Spurts & only when it is above freezing.
Breathing in the Cold is Very Painful for me.

Jeff, gotcha there. I move the snow in spurts too. I'll be paying somebody to do the driveway this year. News today said this is the coldest snap in 20 years in the continental US and in Minnesota and North Dakota tonight, with the wind chill, it will be 50 below zero.

9 degrees here in Ohio this am. My day started in the pheasant pen at 6 am.

Had to catch n crate 36 pheasants, hide 'em in a big field, and then take 2 groups of hunters out to shoot 'em, and clean and bag 'em. 6 got away due to poor shooting, .

After the sun came out it wasn't too bad.
