There is a place we like to hike called Murray Springs. It's a cool trail the follows the path of the old train that used to carry Coal and other things in and out of the area many years ago.

It also leads to the old Clanton ranch. Yes that would be the Clantons from Tombstone. It is still standing, and this trail leads almost right to it.

But even more dated is the fact that this used to be home to the Paleo Indians, and it was a kill site for the mammoth. There have been 12 skulls recovered here.

Attached are a couple pictures of the signs. I will try and get up more area pictures soon.

I'm sure it must be illegal to hunt for points, but man it would be hard to not take one if you accidently found it. We have kill sites here by the Mississippi, but I've never been lucky enough to find one. Please do post more pics!
