beer-simmered brats and fresh buns

Simmered some brats in beer for a couple hours before grilling them. Also made some homemade brat buns because I hate putting brats in those tiny hotdog buns from the store. It was to no avail though, the Packers still lost. Oh well, next year!!
If you look close, on the lower shelf, you'll see a cinnamon roll I made with the extra dough.

I love brats! Never simmered them in beer though.

Gotta try it Rat, makes the skin a little softer and easier to chew. Kinda hated going through 4 beers before gametime though.
