I like tugboats almost as much as old trains so I decided to sketch one with charcoal and ink. Now I'm back to sketching another old train. Still want to see some stuff from rginn!
ok stefen, I'll post a sketch I did of a coyote a while back. I used a photo that a t-net member had taken of a coyote for referrence. I think I may have posted it before. This one is done in just pencil. Can't find the pic of the fox I sketched. Problem is, I give most of my stuff away and didn't take pics before I let them go.
not sure junk, I think it was just a cheap, wooden frame with glass and matting already and I just put the drawing in that and gave it to one of my boys.
Pret-ty good, there! If I get back to Oklahoma I have some stuff stored there that might be presentable or I could go to some folks houses and ask to take pictures of my old stuff. All I got here is practice stuff mostly (it's a good learning technique to copy, over and over, the work of an artist whose style you admire until you get a handle on how they do it, maybe) but I'll try to look up a couple of them.
Thanks all for the compliments. Tamrock, a few days ago my wife asked me to do a paddle wheeler and my d-i-l wants a Spanish galleon. Maybe I should have stayed retired.
