Williams Fork wildflower camp

Camped last night up along the Williams Fork. Quite a few wildflowers out, which I believe to be wild rose, the red fairy trumpet, and the purple silvery lupine. Correct me if I'm wrong. Big time bear country, but no bear sign in the campin areas. Didn't intend to, but wound up in a forest service campground pay site, and put the bed roll on top of the picnic table as very wet ground there. Only one other camper there, 70's in the day, 31 at 5 in the morning, and found 39 cents in the campground. (I detect every time I camp and find a lot of change, but nothin remarkable)

Nice area in CO RGINN. Too bad the beetle kill is as bad as it is. I guess being in Summit Co it is around there also.

You ever find any pre 64 silver coinage in these campsites?. I always wanted find the spots the old mountain trains would stop to let passengers pick wild flowers. I think the train over Hagerman was a popular route for stopping so passengers could get out and pick flowers back in the day. Surely some folks would have dropped something leaning over to pick flowers, don't you think?

You sure do take pics and visit beautiful areas. I'm sitting here looking out my window at another 93+ and dry San Antonio day. Don't get me wrong. I love Texas, but only during winter when I'm out on a really green golf course.

Summit County seems to be the home and starting place of the beetle kill. I don't find a whole lot of silver coinage in these areas, tamrock. Some of the areas weren't in use in the silver coinage era, and in those days if you lost a dime you made an effort to find it. My best find ever up here was an 1876 seated liberty dime, and I bet the miner who lost it organized a search party to look for it. San Antone ain't that bad of a place. If you get up and walk downtown before daylight you can see the police roustin out the homeless people and tellin them to move on before the tourists get there. And I took my hat off when I walked into the Alamo.
