Most of thes were taken in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I wasn't really happy with any of them, mainly because they were not the ones I wanted from that area. It was a narrow winding road with about six inch shoulder between the fog line and the ditch. There were a few nice waterfalls with turnouts, but usually blocked by one car parked right in the middle, so I just stopped wherever I could.

The one in the desert was taken near Boron, CA in the Mojave desert.

One hidden in the shrubbery is where I camped last night in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Now that's an epic looking KW...I'd say you had some pretty climatic extremes from the cool partly cloudy skies of the Back Hills to the heat of the Mohave Desert.

Thanks tamrock, Yeah the truck is new with 34000 miles on it.

I changed climates several times. Nice to be in the Black Hills in the summer time, but not so much in the Mojave, where it was well over 100 degrees.

Well that trucks got a long ways to go to give it the badge of being Broke In.
