Wyoming's open spaces.

Last evening I drove all the way from the Denver area to Little America Wyoming and headed north to Lander Wyo. These shots are from sites along hwy 20 as I took a little detour in to South Pass City were I was greeted by the Chick-Fil-A "eat more chicken gang" an old abandoned mine and as I was on a hill south of Lander Wyo I could see to the north, smoke of some forest fire I think is up in the state of Washington?

It's so beautiful! & I'm pretty sure it is the WA fires that is causing the haze. Even here in MO we were told the sunsets were colored by the Wa fires.

Nice Photo's! I'm afraid that first one almost looks like a three-headed, six-legged cow, and they are warning you that you better not cross the fence or they will get you. :laughing7:

Outside of Medicine Bow I found flint on top of the gravel road. It had been polished by the wind and sand to an amazing glassy look. Gosh, if I had the money I would move there in a minute. (As long as I could bring my wonderful Missouri friends & neighbors with me!) & fishing Fontenel reservoir! (sorry spelling) Gosh we just don't have trout like up there.

That be nice. Wyoming is nice. It is though a little warm. I stayed in Thermopolis last night and it was a little over a 100 here at 5: pm last late afternoon. Fall is a great time to visit here, imo
