I have always enjoyed this 5 mile bike path along the Connecticut River,the old Enfield Dam,was a HOT spot for Stripper fishing......more than one over 50 lbs.not so these days though.River one side,Windsor Locks Canal the other.Little Critters in my back yard.

It looks like you had a great walk with some wonderful sights along the way. Getting out for a good walk is important to do for body and mind. That's what my Grandpa past on to me. He never smoked, drank, drove a car or flew in a plane. When we'd go visit him the activity I looked forward to on those visits, was walking to the Mississippi river to go fishing with cane pole's. He was born in 1892 and fought in the trenches of France in WWI and took care of folks and family during the great depression. I think going on walks was something my Grandpa valued more over most any materiel thing money could buy.... Those are some excellent pictures you took. Thanks! and peace be with you.

It is a real peaceful QUIET 5 miles,wildlife galore,I've been hoping to see some grass carp sunning themselves in the canal,snapping turtles the size of a car door too,well,maybe not that big,but BIG!I'll get a pic yet.
