Around here I've not seen anything that would remotely be a possibility of activity of the indigenous peoples. In the mountains I have seen good evidence in around burrowing animal holes dug up. Gophers are good at kicking up buried sites and I did once find a good specimen that I believe surfaced from the result of that gopher doing his thing.

I remember the gophers in California when I was there as a child... my brother and I would stick the hose down a hole, and fill it so the gophers would run out the next entrance... Yeah, we were kinda bored at times... LOL
I'd take advantage of their dug up spots too... :laughing7:
