Great pictures. That's the only way I would go deer hunting anymore; with a camera! I lived in central Texas from 1942, until 2007, when I moved here to Idaho. The last place I lived, occasionally we would see a deer walk across the back yard. After living there for 24 years, the area grew so much that for the last 10 years we saw almost no wildlife. Occasionally a squirrel and a few cotton-tails.
When we lived in Waco, 1979 until 1984, there were squirrels everywhere. We lived on one of the main residential streets. Lots of traffic. In the back yard, I counted 13 squirrels playing the trees one morning while letting the truck warm up and waiting for the daughter to come out so I could drop her at school on my way to work.

I'm not sure I like the look in those eye's. He looks a bit unpredictable to me. A friend of mine long ago in Iowa picked up a baby deer in the woods and raised it up. It grew to a buck like that and it was just like any other pet around his property and would follow you around hoping for a handout. Someone reported it to the 'Fish & Game and they came and took it away and scolded him for messing with the states wildlife.
