The last few years it seems has had less snow early in the RM winters. Higher up there was some fresh snow that fell within the last 24 hours. Driving home yesterday I felt a little crappy, like I was getting a touch of the Rocky Mountain Crud, so I gave up driving at Leadville and hit the sack. I took this pic yesterday morning around 6am of Mount Massive and the moon going down in the west. The mountain looks to have a good average amount of snow or so it seems to me?, but in Buena Vista they were wearing t-shirts in the afternoon and that's just 35 miles to the south of Leadville.
