Beautiful shots. That NW rain forest is a fascinating looking place. I've only been around it a couple of times.

Those moss covered rocks can get a little slick at times.

This was about half way between Oakridge and Cottage Grove. Actually in the Bohemia mining area. I took a road from Oakridge, around the lake and over Packard Creek to Brice Creek where my parents live. ( Near Dorena, OR.)

Stunning photos  Thanks so much. It's nothing but white and snowy around here right now. Good to have the visual relief ;)

Been up in that country from the Steamboat side, ended up in Cottage Grove and on the way home, stopped at Rice Hill for a humongus ice-cream cone. Wonder if they still sell those huge cones, haven't stopped there for years. Been to Dorena Lake to the guy that sells the Indian trade beads, can't think of his name now though, and a number of years in April I camped on Larrison Creek
cove, a mile from the road by canoe. Quite a few times we were camping in the rain, but it was still fun.
