If it worked once, why not try again. Daughter has a hawk working on her chickens. I was surprised when I saw it, the hawk is smaller than the hens it's after. great pictures.

I was in the woods in S.C. once...
I was detecting and getting some trash hits and was digging ... and felt like someone was watching me...
I would stop and look around... nothing...
this went on for maybe ten minutes in this same trash spot...
Then I just happened to look up for some reason...
and there it was...
The biggest frigging owl I have ever seen... just to my left ... on a branch... only yen feet above me...
its eyes were looking right into mine and were the size of baseballs.
It was just as cool as it was creepy in way...
I have never seen one this big even in pictures.
And I had no camera... wish in those days I carried one.

Silent fliers those owls are you never hear them.I see a snowy owl years ago,I couldn't believe the wing span on that thing going right over my head..SILENTLY.
