Looked out my bathroom window and these beauties were moseying by scratching around for some tasty morsels which I am sure are in short supply this time of year. Their feathers display a beautiful iridescence this time of year, seemingly more so than in the fall. Later in the day (yesterday) I missed a once in a blue moon shot when I looked out and saw the resident red tail hawk land in a tree 25" from the window with a fresh squirrel in it's talons. By the time I got the camera he was flying away with the squirrel dangling from his claws and his mate flying 20' behind him.

I've never eaten a wild turkey, but I would take a swig of it ever now and then from a bottle in my younger days.
