That's it, thought I'd do that before they close. Independence is good for only once a year if even that. That Aspen to Glenwood traffic is to much of a mess to go over that pass much these days.

Do the roads really close? I figured the stae would keep them open.
Way to much snow fall and snow slides on these high passes to stay ahead of it all in the winters above 12'000 feet. It be a suicide mission for the snow removal crews to stay out of the way of all the avalanches that would take place from the deep snow that piles up almost around the clock up there.

Hey Austin, about the only road up here that doesn't get closed for some period of time is the one I drive to go to work. I keep hopin though.
