Fun stories out there about camel spiders!

Well done that man! - essentially the stories about camel spiders have been exagerated to scare the new guys when they first get to the Middle East - in the Aussie military we had similar stories about Drop Bears, Hoop Snakes and Whip Snakes.

Drop bears are particularly scary - my kids still don't know whether to believe me ;D Drop bears are a vicious version of koalas that drop onto your back when you walk under their tree and wrap their furry little paws around your face to suffocate you.

Yes, some toothpaste put behind your ears or a fork in your hair will deter this vicious marsupial from dropping on your head. ;) ha ha
