I have been there once, but it has been a while. The Bigfork area I hear has a lot of history going back even to the Native Americans.

The second and third pics are Wildhorse island. The flathead Indians would swim their horse out to the island when the Blackfoot Indians would come over Marias Pass to raid them. The island has a large population of bighorn sheep now that they use to repopulate herds across the state. Hope I didn't bore anyone. I love where I live.
