Mickey Mouse camp

[RGINN]

Camped near Twin Lakes last night. Not a great beginning to the day, but slightly better once I got out of Summit County. Camped on a high ridge with a commanding view of the valley. Snow all day about 500ft. above me, up in the 40's, wind blew out of the west all day and night. 28 at night but better than the 22 down in the valley below me. I run across these memorials all the time out in the woods up here and I guess this lady was a big fan of Mickey Mouse. While I was lookin at it, it started. The Mickey Mouse theme song. In my head all day long. It started back up when I got up this a.m., and didn't quit til I left the area. So if you ever camp here, be forewarned this place is haunted with the Mickey Mouse song.

Some songs will pop up in my head and stay in it for miles down the road. If only the ghost of Annette Funicello had apeard out of the woods and paid you a visit. Now that be one of those encounters you'd be happy to have stuck in your head. Heck I'd be singing the Micky Mouse song over the campfire together with her all night long.
