Be still my heart! This little guy is beyond precious! Those beautiful little eyes and his cute little hands holding that clover - that is a fabulous picture!

They relish strawberries too. Love those chipmunks - well, more like love/hate -
I had that love/hate relationship with them when I lived in Oregon. I had a lot of them at my house. They get into everything, and pack off lots of bird feed. I don't have any around the house here where I live now. I found this one miles away from any houses in the National Forest.

Thanks All for your input. It was kind of weird that he didn't show hardly any fear of me. He wasn't near a campground where he would get used to people feeding him, and was about 15 miles from the nearest house. I walked all around him and when I would get within about three feet of him he wouldn't run away. He would just move about a foot further away busily eating clover. Even the ones that used to pack off my bird feed in my yard in Oregon wouldn't let me get that close.
I took these with a 400mm lens. It wont focus closer than 11' so I actually had to back away from him to take the pictures.

Nice pics. There used to be some smaller ones living in the woods at my Mom's house. They were very skittish and seldom seen.
