Closeup of Comstock Silver

After messing with the gold I decided to try a closeup of some silver that came from the Comstock mines. Anyhow, if it didn't it should have, because it has a CC mint mark, and Virginia City isn't very far from there.


All three pictures are the same coin, the first is with my regular closeup and the last is the macro doubler.

Some great stories of mining and history out of the Comstock Lode. When I lived in Sacramento me and my wife would head up to Virginia City and that area for the weekends sometimes.
