Kind of rare seeing a porcupine. Does look like you had a good day.

Actually they are pretty common here. Miss Daisy and my late buddy Baxter used to find them the hard way. It sure isn't fun for the pups or we humans having to pull those quills out of a hurting and squirming dog. We see them plastered to the country roads here too as a testament to how slow they are.

Good porcupine pics. We have em, but I hardly ever see a live one. In porcupine country, put your boots inside your sleeping bag or tent if you have one, cause porcupines will chew them up for the salt. Don't pee on tree trunks, because porcupines will chew up the bark and kill the tree.
