    Majestic Osprey

    I took these pics at the beach I frquent. They nest in a very tall light tower. I am facinated with these birds!

    Very nice photos, Osperys are beautiful birds to photograph......
    There is a nest about 16 miles north of me that is right along the paved road and the state put up a platform that is not that high. When I used to ride bicycle by the spot I would always see the birds up close and personal. I believe the pole the nest platform is on is only about 20 feet high.

    Fantastic pics...thanks for sharing with us. Wish we had ospreys here for my viewing pleasure. The brown pelican is our state bird & they're awesome to watch.

    Nice shots faith. We have some nesting where I work. There is a live, zoomed in camera on their nest 24 hours a day so the tourists can watch them. Again, nice pics, thanks

    I love those big birds especially. Great job on the pictures, very nice. We had one in the yard in April eating a big 'ol fish, content to watch the frisbee game right below him while he dined .

    Cool pics. I remember one time when I got out of the car at Ocean CIty, MD and immediately saw an Osprey flying overhead with a small shark in it's talons. Too cool.
