Hey folks, we put a metal roof on a new house for one of our customers the last two days. Had my hunting Buddy Damnails run the Sky Trak for us and he did a great job. Wish I could detect all week but I guess we have to make a living. Thought you might like the pictures. Thanks for looking. Dang, I need you guys here...WITH the Sky Trak!! I've got to put a new metal roof on my old shop before the birds peck off any more of the old wooden shingles. Problem is, don't know if my ankle will allow me to do it this year.

I remember being in the fire dept. in Texas one winter, and being up on a house roof that was about that high off the ground. The call came in at night time (...but of course it did!!), and the roof was a 10/12 pitch!! The water was freezing and turning to ice. At one point, I slid down a few feet until the rubber from my boots finally grabbed. I think I stayed frozen to that spot for about 15 minutes! I've never been on another steep metal roof since then, whether day or night, wet or dry, summer or winter!!

Be careful up there! :icon_thumright:
