Meet the newest member of my family. I got him yesterday. His name is Duke. He is a 6 year old golden retriever, named after the dog that keeps the baked bean secret on TV. The dog was given to me yesterday, and he was doing lots of scratching last night, so today I took him to the vet to be sure he was up on his shots, and to get him a flea bath. When I brought him home he was rubbing and rolling on the grass, I guess trying to get the smell of the bath off. Anyhow, he seems to be a much happier dog tonight, not having to chase fleas. He's a real people critter, loves everyone, and likes lots of affection.
