I call detecting "Beeping" so with all this dirt brought up around the removed stumps - had to run a detector over it - :)

Sure makes your place look different, but I would of brought those trees down also. Large trees next to the house bugger me.

Shame, but they would have made me nervous also, they were big enough to do a good bit of damage, and the pines seem to always topple first in a really bad storm.

Beautiful house, looks like the neighbors aren't too close either...my version of heaven. 8-)

We did a split with the loggers for cutting and hauling- Lower grade wood, but still came out w/couple grand. We got Alder/Maple all over if needed for the stove.

Had a new roof put on 2 summers ago, and when the Spring Chinook winds came thru this year, a 15' top came down, the tip just tagging the gutter.

Can't have that.

No, but that's great Idea - Kept a couple big stumps for landscape, so I'll check it out when we level the cuts.
