Had to drive up to Glide, OR today, and with all the rain I thought I might get a picture of Colliding Rivers. There are two rivers that meet head to head, the North Umpqua and Little River run straight into each other, and then, combine, head west as the North Umpqua. Little River was running quite muddy, but the North Umpqua was murky, but not full of silt. Everything is just too large to get a decent photo, and all I had was my phone, so there is nothing spectacular about the photos, but here are a couple.
This one you can see the muddy water from Little River on the left, and the North Umpqua coming in on the right.
It would look better as a video, but the two rivers meet head to head, and then head west out of the top of the picture.
This one is taken more from the Little River side, and you can't see the North Umpqua, the picture just looks like Little River is making a left turn, but the north river is just out of sight behind the bank to the right.
