I would say you're right, and it probably gets weirder every year, but I fit right in. I don't have anything to do with it, but I'm pretty sure marijuana was legal in Breck about 20 years before the state legalized it, so that might explain a lot. Things have changed, as John Warner is no longer mayor. That's right, Mayor Warner. Am I the only one that gets that?

Oh the reefers been around a long time up there. On the 25th of next month will be the 40th anniversary I pulled into Leadville for the first time. First stop was the Manhattan for a beer and a call from a payphone to find my buddy who got a place at the Stonehenge apartments for us. I was driving a 1973 Pontiac lemans sport coupe. Had me some new snow tires on and I couldn't believe all the snow I was driving through. Now they make big blocks from all the snow.
