Odd shaped tree

This tree grows at a place called Millstream Gardens in Southeast Mo. The River is the St Francois which runs through our whole county.

Nice ....I had a habit since I was a kid to tie trees in big loopy knots or braid sapplings together....I always wonder how they turned out.....

There used to be a house that sat right about where I am standing. When the owners died they willed it to the Mo. Dept of Conservation, and after much debate they decided it would be too much upkeep, and the possibility/likelyhood of vandalism, they bull dozed the house and there is a pavillion there now, and this section of rapids is known as Tieman Shut-ins after the previous owners. I would love to wake up to this view everyday! RON
