They are losing a lot of the forest in Mexico where they
spend the winter, let's hope for the best.

Really pretty picture. I have been seeing the Monarchs just recently, last night there were 3 flying around together. I did not know you could tell the gender that easily, thank you.

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments.You have to admire Mother Nature for her beauty she puts in all nature.
Fossis you are so right about the loss of habitat in Mexico.They rely on that area for there survival.
On the 31st of this month they are having a Monarch banding session at a Nature learning center. I'm planing on taking the Grandkids to it. I plan on taking some pictures,hopefully they will come out OK
