HI gang.. with all the excitement over first having my detector's armrest (arm cuff) break on me, and then with the replacement and all.. well I forgot about the pictures that I took that same morning, during my ill fated hunt. I got up close and personal with some flowers and bees in the park that morning. This nifty little camera my wife gave me for our tenth wedding anniversary takes some amazing pictures. I'll be very happy when I can do it justice with my photography skills. Lacking somewhat as they are though, I still took some pretty nice shots I thought. I'll share them with you all and let you decide.

Hope you were using the zoom when you took the pics of that critter; looks like he could be nasty! Great pics!

Awesome picture and I agree I hope you were using a zoom lens. I think you can see your reflection on his head or that may be the flower.
