I only see them around my house every now and then. Of course I really don't make it a point to go looking for them.

Cool picture! They are usually found near the ground, behind downspouts, inside water meters, and they love rock gardens. It’s a good thing they aren’t aggressive, seek medical attention if bitten.

Ick! No Black Widows here in the far NW, but I grew up in Calif. and
used to see (kill) them on a regular basis. Spent a couple years installing
cable, and that meant crawling under a lot of houses...right where the
things live.

I do hope you terminated the thing after it posed for you...

That one was from about 4 years ago & was against the house, I relocated 'Her' to the Woods behind the house.
