A couple more from yesterday.....
Originally, I was stopped at the end of a driveway to this place about to take one shot with a telephoto lens because the barn is about a1/4 mile from the road. The nice land owner showed up and invited me to come on up closer, so.......

Both beautiful, great contrast and the lighting is sublime. What camera are you using?

Many Thanks Everyone....Ansel Adams said “A good photograph is knowing where to stand.” I used to wonder about that statement. Did he mean standing in front of a waterfall, or snow capped mountain or whatever? I'm slow but I think he may have meant something like I went through here. You can move a few feet or yards right or left, or up or down the hill, and change the perspective dramatically.

Brilliant Shots! Enjoy your pictures.

It has been warning up here the last week or so since our last snow, enough to get the wife to beg that we get out and look for some artifacts. Despite the fact that my ''service engine'' light was is on in the pickup we went out. When we got to the area that we wanted to search there was no snow on the ground. We ended up finding one clear agate point and several crude scrapers and knives.

Wow...outstanding composition Ron...either of those would make
a gorgeous print...with the first one being my choice.

The first shot printed on canvas, then matted and framed belongs sitting
above a beautiful fireplace.

Thanks Kray, I have a Canon 5D III, and used a 24-105 lens for these.

I enjoy your photos immensely. Western mountain boy here, been away too long. And I am so glad you didn't say IPhone, 'cause then I would be forced to buy one! Keep sharing, please.

In taking a more serious look at it, I think the only change I would
have made would have been to move the left side in just past that
last, bold looking fence post (bottom left of pic). For me it pulls my
eyes down and left, instead of having the main focus on the barn/bldg.
and surroundings.

No matter...it's a 9.99 on a scale of 10, and I'd hang it on my wall in a heartbeat...8-)

Thanks so much Dizzy!...Actually I thought about removing that fence post, or cropping it out.
Thanks again Dizzy and Everyone.

That first picture is awesome, if i were to print that, frame it and hang on my wall. What would I owe you?
