That's the exact opposite of my domain. That's the kinda place I've always wanted to live and I could with the kind of work I do, but I'd have to replace someone in order to to truly enjoy it if I did make a move like that.

When I retired from big city living I wanted silence and solitude. So here I am way up a holler with a kilometer long driveway and no neighbors. You have your dream as well! Congratulations!

Having lived in Toronto for 25yrs we earned it, hearing a gunshot now is related to hunting instead of what happens in the hood. Less human interaction seems to be a great thing as we age.

It seems to be the 180 that most want after living in the city. From a population base of millions to almost nil.
