A Chickadee and a Red Breasted Nuthatch.

These are very friendly little birds. I honestly think I could get them to take food from my hand if the feeders were empty.....They come in within a few feet while I'm refilling the feeders.

Always coming and going from the feeder, and in my opinion, they're harder to capture than an eagle, because they're never still for more than a few seconds.

Ron - I used to feed the chickadees by hand when I was a kid. Took a lot of patience and you had to stand perfectly still with a handful of sunflower seeds next to the empty feeder. Even an eye movement would spook them. Could never get a titmouse to sit on my hand. They'd come close but were always a little too wary. Great pics.

Great pics, as usual, Ron! A Mountain Chickadee, and two Black Cap Chickadees. I have one of each hitting my feeder, but they are really wary.
