This was posted by a Sheriff's Department in response to numerous calls of coyote sightings.

FORT BEND COUNTY SHERIFF ISSUES HILARIOUS 'COYOTE WARNING'

FORT BEND COUNTY - The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says they've been receiving calls concerning coyote sightings near Mission Glen and along Keegans Bayou. They want to stress to the public that they don't need to report every coyote sighting as they are native wildlife and live among us.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says coyotes may prey on a small, unattended pet, but are generally scared of people.

They continued to say there are certain behaviors that are cause for alarm.

They specifically highlighted:

Coyote carrying box marked "ACME"

Coyote dropping anvil from hot air balloon

Coyote posting signs such as "Detour" or "Free Bird Seed"

Coyote in possession of giant magnet

Coyote in possession of catapult

Coyote detonating explosives/TNT

Coyote launching self with giant crossbow

We hear them all around our place most of the year, but have never seen so much as a paw print from a coyote on our land. Now THAT'S suspicious!! :laughing7:

I just love their response! They are here in Maryland too. They would not be welcome on my land.

Well then, according to Matt, Cliff, and Bobo you probably have a Bigfoot infestation.

I love night hunting in the country and I don't mind so much when the Coyotes follow me around when detecting, but I got to admit, when the Mountain Lions come around and lurk along the tree line just on the edge of the field I'm detecting, that always gets my heart racing and when you move and watch them slink along the tree line following you...yeah a bit of pucker factor. I just keep my head down and keep swinging so I don't think about it too much...

I like crosshairs for sighting coyotes (this one had a very lucky chicken in it's mouth that lived to cluck about it).

What did you get him with Charlie ?
I get around 3 a year in my pastures with a 22 mag.
I let them lay in the field...they eat each other.

My cousin had a handgun by made by TC. I remember he had one barrel he could stick a .410 shell in it. He would blast cottontail's on the run with it.

I've hit 4 with all the driving I do. I can still see the last look on their faces just before impact.
