    More Spring pics

Took the Arrowleaf Balsamroot pics down the road from my house. It won't be long until there ar huge patches of these on the hills.

The others I took in my yard with the macro lens.

As always, you have to click on the pics 2 or 3 times to view full size.

me neither, but I have thought of putting a smaller digital camera on a stick and rigging up some way to hit the shutter button.

Wow, looks like a pinpoint lens of some nature. Hate to think of what that might cost let alone keeping it steady enough to get a good clear picture without a tripod. If it does exist, might have some cool close up possibilities. Time to check out Canon for Does it really exist or just a prototype. The close up pics are great. Have to work to catch them before they take off.

From what videos I found on it, they were demonstrating the motion pictures you can do with it. They also had an adapter with a ring LED lamp on the end of it that you can submerge under water and film fish and other aquatic things. I'm not so sure they've really perfected it all that well, as I wasn't really that impressed with the images it produced. Just hold your breath and try not to scare the bug away before you get a good focus on it.

Nice macro pics, Ron! Love the eyes on that jumping spider. Great shot!

Very impressive! I love the hillside photos.

I admit my level of weirdness is above the national average, but I am comfortable with that.

Thanks, I have a Canon 100mm 2.8L macro lens.....I think the bug is a cicada still inside the shell. Wont be long before it leaves the shell behind.
