I made a trip up to Empire Colo today. The sun up there was really beaming it's solar radiation and you'd be fine wearing a t-shirt. On the way home I spotted some blending into the terrain big horn sheep, enjoying the days sunshine. Yesterday it was completely overcast with a mix of snow and rain. Looks like that round of spring storms has now come and gone and we should see the next one in another 3 days or so?.

That's a spectacular view! And you are right in saying they blend in. Even when I enlarged the photo, I had a hard time figuring out where the head was on the one.

That's a spectacular view! And you are right in saying they blend in. Even when I enlarged the photo, I had a hard time figuring out where the head was on the one.
I was hoping to see something in the way of wildlife up there. I did see a herd of elk, but there was no safe place to pull over for any pictures of them.
