I love the fall season; too bad it is always so short; as winter will soon be knocking on our door....

Those are some great pictures. I'm in the Hudson Valley area as well. Winter can sometimes be a b**ch around here......and I don't even ski. I love the way the snowflakes look so big.

I liked the way the falling snow came out on these too.

It was the first time I thought to add a flash to the photo like that specifically to capture the snow falling. Sounds silly now when I think about it; but prior to that time I never really used flash to do anything other than balance the light in a photo.

The falling snow really makes the picture...+ the black & white.

Snow always looks nicer in pictures than having to shovel, scrap and plow.
