I haven't posted anything for awhile so I thought I would post some from this lst weekend's camping trip to the Cumberland river.

Pic 1 is my buddy at the Wolfcreek dam when they opened the sleuse gate.

Pic 2 -wild flowers along the river bank

Pic 3 -a nice serene river view.

Pic 4 Sunset along the river

Pic 5 is picture of our huge camper and our kayaks...you should see some of the looks we get when we pull this thing into a campground.... ;D ;D

Always: Great pics! BTW...does your buddy know that all of us down stream have been warned for the past year about the possible dam failure of Wolf Creek Dam? The dam limestone under the dam is being eroded. And now, about 3 weeks ago, they are reporting another possible dam failure. It seems the dam limestone under Center Hill Dam is eroding. Both of these dam impoundments are above Nashville and the dam failures could cause extensive dam damage downstream. Thought I'd share this dam update about possible dam failures. ::)

RE: the dam failure. Yes we have been reading all about the possible dam failures, and it is a little un-nerving to be on the river in a 9 ft. kayak and think about the possible wall of water that would take us for awild albiet short ride...

Nice photos & beautiful country. Any chance of picking up
any 'walleyes' in the waters below the dams? It looks like
a good area to fish.

I have those plans also...I looked at vintage trailers for months because it was all I could afford for me and the girls and was fascinated by the Teardrops.....so I sent for the plans ....then figured out that a bear could probally swallow the trailer in one gulp....so went with the Shasta ....Hahaha
