I've never gone on the FB thing. Yes I also like old trucks. I've had in the past a 56' Ford, 58" Chevy and this is an old 1948 IH 2 ton that was mine at one time. It's sits in a yard now to this day of a fella who runs an excavating outfit in Buena Vista, Colorado. I used that old IH truck to go up on Cottonwood pass and collect fire wood in the late 1970's and early 1980's. One day running it in granny gear up a steep hill I must have revved the RPM's beyond what that flatehead six could handle and threw a rod. Knowing this fella in town was a fanatical IH collector I drove over to his place in my 65' IH Scout and said for $300. you can have it. He didn't hesitate and jumped in his lowboy came over and we winched it on and away it went. I drive by my old IH from time to time and it still sits there after 36 years of being in the same spot lined up with all his other old trucks. I had pulled that blown motor out and put in the rear of the bed. I remember taking the hood off also. The motor is still in the bed and he's never reconnected hood either.
